Why Wheelhouse?

The Oxford dictionary defines “wheelhouse” as:
noun
1. a small cabin with walls and a roof on a ship where the person controlling the direction in which the ship moves stands at the wheel.

2. (North American English) a person's area of expert knowledge or experience.

Financial advisors come from many backgrounds, and there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to the type of advisor best-equipped to help you plan for and achieve your long-term financial goals. 

As a portfolio manager, I am licensed to provide clients with investment management services (including options and derivatives). I also provide financial planning advice and am licensed to sell insurance for Life, Accident & Sickness.

I earned an MBA degree from the Schulich School of Business, and became a CFA charter-holder in 2002. I have more than 15 years’ institutional capital markets experience as an investment analyst on Bay Street, where I undertook fundamental research across multiple industries and sectors including:

· Information Technology (software and hardware),

· Engineering & Consulting services,

· Manufacturing,

· Real Estate,

· Restaurants,

· Retail.
